I've heard they put chemicals in the water (flouride and such) that actually make us docile and complacent to just sit around all day, drink beer, and watch men chase balls for 100 times our annual salary....

Whether hand held or hands free, it takes you mind off the task at hand.

Vehicles need to stop having the extra distractions built in. That will at least prevent some of the accidents.

But it is hard when even the cops drive around on cell phones. Maybe the car makers can put signal resistance material in the car to block cell signals.
