>26% with no job, but you have the internet. I guess my taxpayer funded welfare pays pretty good.< A lot of us are retired and living on our own assets. Not even Social Security, none until 2017 but I'll put off drawing it for as long as possible.

Well, good for you; it was rational, literate, and you made your point clear, all without stooping to drag in any politics..! Nicely done!

Hello, TDImons. Thank you for a great posted reply to the 'Anadarko: more oil, natural gas...' article! From KrsnaDragon in Montréal.

Thank you for the resourceful information. I am doing most of the washing, waxing, interiors, rims and tires. The professional wax is to protect the paint from the hot sun here.

Like your posting today re: luxury trucks. By the way, I am approaching 10K miles for my TDI. Going to get a professional wax to celebrate the occasion. Any input on that?

I am jealous of your hobby. Many years ago I used to drive a SCCA Porche powered sports racer.

In 1962, one of our German employees in Zweibrucken Germany, received a sentence of 30 days in the jail for drunken driving on a bicycle.

What is the penalty for driving without a license in Germany? Your post was great, however, so many people drive without licenses here, I wish that you had added that to your great post re: texting and driving.
