Just a quick message to everyone, if this works. Holiday weekend is upon us, wholesale price of gas is up last that I saw, and a few stations rising in price; which would mean it's a good time to buy gas for most of you! Happy Easter as well to all of you!

And as to the 8%: No, that's current figures from the Securities and Exchange Commission. You could be Phillips 66 and turn over 2% in profits. AT&T turns over 5% but then they're mandated by the Congress to provide universal service. Verizon makes considerably less than that, I haven't looked up CenturyLink but I know they had to cut the dividend.
