I like your post about $4. &$5. dollar gas. and your right. we need to VOTE them all out in 2012.

Oh, by the way....for about a yr our diesel was at or above gas but now is sometimes 8 cents/L below regular (that's up to $.35/gal Cdn).

Yes, we have both the Jetta & Golf diesels here but must pay about 10,000 prem. for them ....not just the diesel engine but must buy the top-end loaded model to get it. Then of course have Mercedes & Audi. Canada will not get a diesel until the US does & maybe not even then (some models are withheld), as the US mkt usually dictates ours...only the Toyota Echo (early Yaris) & earlier Smart car (that had a diesel too) were exceptions for our mkt. Yet paying almost $2/gal. more than US, you'd think auto-makers would see our needs a bit like Europe.

Great remarks about windpower being a fraud... and you're from the windiest state in the USA. One source states it would take nearly 600 square miles of wind farms to replace a typical 1000 Megawatt power plant..
